Blue Knight Donation to Dawn Diaz

A special thanks goes out to the Blue Knights motorcycle club (Chapter California XVII) who voted tonight to donate $200.00 to Dawn Diaz's trust fund.

SPPOA Elections

The SPPOA held it's elections for the Board of Directors on March 11, 2006. We welcome Officer Paul Spencer to the board of directors and congratulate Senior Officer Fogata at his new positions of Vice-President of the Association. Sgt. Carlos Juarez, Officer Ken Clark, Sgt. Saviers, Officer Brad Tallent and CSO Chris Cook are welcomed back to their previously held positions.

Dawn Diaz

The SPPOA members thoughts and prayers go to Sr. Officer Anderson, his daughter Dawn Diaz and their families. Dawn was recently involved in a car accident. Dawn is on her way to a long recovery and the POA unanimously voted to donate $2000 to her trust fund.

SPPOA members have joined together to make personal donations to the trust fund as well. If you are interested in making a donation, donations can be made directly through

The new Board of Directors would like to thank the outgoing board members (Ish Cordero, Henry Aguilar and Daryl Koranda) for their time served on Board, each of whom spent 3 or more years as a members.

2005 Board Elections

Elections for the SPPOA are currently underway. All ballots have been handed out and are to be turned in by 05/20/05. Once the results are in, they will be posted on the website and in the SPPOA bulletin board.
